Kids are great! They are open and honest to a fault and you never know what's going to come out of their mouths next. They are full of energy and enthusiasm but don't let that fool you. Kids can be hurt too. This is where our Junior Church & Discovery Bible Clubs pick up.
Aside from our normal Sunday School classes we also have Junior Church where kids can go to learn how God's word impacts them on a personal level. Junior Church runs congruant with the Adult Church service. After the worship portion of the morning service the kids retire back to the fellowship hall and have bible study. Of course, there are also snacks!
Every Wednesday evening during the fall and winter months, we have Discovery Bible Clubs. This runs approximately the same months that kids are in school. During Discovery, the kids have a time to work on projects, take part in childrens worship, then dig into the bible to see what God has in store for them. And yes, there is a time for snacks!
With the addition of the Bus Ministry over the last 6 months Discovery Bible Club has really taken off! Thanks to those who are part of all these kids ministries. They are the future of our church.
