On Tuesday January 19th, Shelby Jackson, the first lady of Bible Baptist went home to be with the Lord. While she will be missed, we have that blessed hope that Jesus gave that we WILL be with her again. The following is a message from Pastor Jackson and his family.
We just wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for everything that has been done in show of love and support within the past few days. We are so humbled by the out pour of love from everyone. Be it phone calls, food preparation, flowers, donations, kind words, hugs and prayers, to things we may not even be aware of. We are so truly blessed by the Lord to have such wonderful, loving people to call on in such a time of heartache. All of your time spent, knowing that you too have felt the loss. Words can't express how thankful and appreciative we are for your labor of love. God knew what we needed and provided it through His people, our church friends and family. As we know, the church is not the building, but those who assemble within it. We also want to extend our appreciation to Summers Funeral Home for such a great show of patience, respect and professionalism in our time of loss. They allowed us the time we needed to grieve and celebrate the life of Shelby. We are so blessed.

Sunday evening at 6PM Bible Baptist is proud to welcome Sonship Quartet! This is a wonerful, gifted quartet and you will enjoy this evening of singing and ministry. If you like true four part harmony in fine southern gospel style, then you will love Sonship Quartet! There will be a spaghetti dinner prior to the concert starting at 4:30PM through 5:30PM. There is a $5 suggested donation for the dinner. A love offering will be received during the concert. Make plans to attend!!
